**Job Description**:
**Sales Support (Inside Sales) Representative**

**Office based - Dandenong South**

**Hybrid working available**

**Monday - Friday - 38 hours - permanent**

To provide an inbound and outbound sales support function, following up promotional campaigns, dealing with initial queries, qualifying leads and signposting opportunities to the appropriate services and support.

To work with sales management and marketing to identify potential new customers and opportunities, manage the client contact process and liaise with sales associates and other departments to assist in generating and closing sales.

**Essential Duties**:

- Qualifying sales leads, with a view to managing smaller accounts and passing key opportunities to sales managers.
- Assist sales managers to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Manage existing customer relationships to augment sales and ensure ongoing business retention using a planned contact program.
- Deliver customer communications in liaison with Marketing, providing full follow up to campaigns, tracking of progress and closing of business.
- Contribute to the development of sales plans as required
- Maintenance of the CRM system to ensure that records are kept up to date with customer contact details and contact history.
- Develop and maintain a full knowledge of Ingram’s major products, systems, prices and key features of major competitors.
- Report on sales activities to ensure accurate business monitoring and pipeline forecasts are maintained.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, utilising social media where appropriate to drive business and share newsworthy initiatives.
- Manage trade table displays and/or otherwise represent the company at conferences and industry events.
- Provide administrative support in preparation of Tender Documents, powerpoint presentations and/or business reports.

**Other Duties**
- Ensure that all relevant company and departmental Health, Safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required.
- Availability to travel on occasion.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

**Essential Physical Demands**
- Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
- Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
- Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum bachelor degree Level Education
- 2 years sales or industry experience or equivalent
- Experience of phone based sales / negotiation techniques
- Experience of managing customer relationships and providing service at high level
