**What this opportunity involves**:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a vacancy for Finance professional to join us as an Accounts Payable Officer. We have hybrid work arrangements available at JLL.

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts. You will also assist in client reporting and queries.

This role is required in Canberra.

**Snapshot of the role**:
Processing of invoices for property expenditure
Facilitate payment processing for clients
Review processing work, monitor accuracy, ensure adherence to policies and procedures - addressing any issues
Assist with client reporting
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the Finance team, leasing managers, lease administration, facilities management, and client representatives
Process development and identify any potential areas of improvement
Following accounting principles and industry regulations on a daily basis

Please note that you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to comply with our client’s requirement with the ability to gain and retain relevant security clearance.

Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Studying towards professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded
Proven work experience in finance operations
Prior experience in the property / real estate industry will be an added advantage
Proficient in standard Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and also as a team
Sound written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills to manage a diverse range of stakeholders
Sound working knowledge of accounting principles and systems
