**About Our Client**:
Our Client is a leader their industry for many decades. They represent a diversified portfolio of selected brands across Australia. The work location for this position is located in Canberra, ideally to be in the office where you will work collaboratively with their finance team

As an Accounts Payable, you would work with an encouraging team as part of a diverse and supportive team based in Canberra. The key responsibilities will include the following:

- Maintaining information and resolution of enquiries relating to the processing functions in a high volume finance operations environment. This may include, raising and issuing invoices/credit notes, receipting, undertaking bank account reconciliations, credit card acquittals, preparation of journals, processing supplier invoices for payment, resolving routine client enquiries in a timely manner and other associated functions.
- Following up on invoices rejected by our Invoice Approvers, including seeking escalation assistance from Financial Controller/Management Accountant.
- Preparing Weekly Payment Batch (Compiling, Scanning, Reviewing).
- Setting up new suppliers in Systems (ERP).

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Graduate finance knowledge.
- Effective communication skills, Strong written and verbal communication.
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, particularly the ability to understand and process financial data.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated capability in a high volume finance operations environment with knowledge of processing functions relating to accounts payable and banking functions.
- Proficient with MS Office.
