**The Opportunity**

We are seeking to appoint a proactive and adaptable Quality Assurance Manager to support us on our journey of continuous improvement as we continue to grow into the future.

Reporting to the Group Quality Systems Manager, the purpose of this role is to monitor and provide direct, hands-on leadership of the Quality Assurance program at SunPork Fresh Processing, liaising with the production team to lead continuous improvement through practical solutions.

Key accountabilities include:

- Actively drive staff understanding of food safety and related procedures and protocols, through effective communication, demonstration and coaching while identifying specific training requirements
- Effectively manage the Eagle Farm Quality department to ensure sufficient quality support around production requirements is provided at all times.
- Set site Quality KPI’s and provide clear and accurate reports identifying any shortcomings well ahead of time to ensure corrective actions can be taken.
- Ensure SunPork Fresh Processing operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements though partnering with the production team to implement practical solutions that meet system requirements.
- Continual quality checks to monitor product integrity & packing presentation.
- Implement and monitor QA methods and procedures for raw materials, processes and product (i.e. personal hygiene, MHA, temperatures, tares, weights, allergens, segregation, etc), to meet system requirements with a focus on best practice.
- Liaise with the production team to ensure that work and product safe operating procedures are adhered to at all times, escalating breaches in policy as soon as practicable.
- Manage inspection and testing procedures for raw materials, manufacturing processes and finished products.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance management role.
- Experience in FMCG. Meat processing experience advantageous.
- Familiar with BRC, Woolworths, Coles, Costco and AUSMEAT requirements.
- HACCP trained.
- Experience conducting internal audits (a qualification in internal audits is preferable).
- Ability to work within small time frames and provide prompt responses.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with organisational and time management skills.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
