Are you an experienced Facilities Manager seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity?

A prominent state government authority responsible for managing and maintaining a wide range of facilities is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join their team and oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of facilities.

**Your new role**
- Overseeing the daily operations including maintenance, repairs, and security
- Developing and implementing comprehensive facilities management plans to ensure optimal functionality and resource allocation
- Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential improvements
- Collaborating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades
- Managing budgets, financial forecasts, and procurement processes related to facility management
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to facility management and safety

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary education or relevant experience a Facilities Management role
- Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical
- Relevant experience in Technical Facilities role is highly desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Negotiation skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders
- Understanding of building codes and safety procedures
