**About Us**:
Established in 1993, Townsend Building Services is an award-winning, building and construction industry expert delivering projects Australia-wide. A family business, we started out as a partner to insurance companies like Alliance and Westpac, assisting clients with catastrophic repairs. In 2017 we created a new “Facilities” department to focus on retirement village projects for organisations such as Aveo, RSL Life, Retire Australia, and Churches of Christ and are doubling our revenue in this area every year. On the back of this growth, in October 2024 we took the Facilities department and turned it into a new company called Taylor Building & Renovation Services (TBRS).

**About The Role**:
Due to our ongoing expansion, we have one vacancy for high-achieving, trade-qualified builders with supervision experience to join our expert team. Reporting to the regional manager, you’ll be a knowledgeable self-starter, responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects, and bringing them in on time and on budget. You will never be bored. In an average day you might be visiting a site to scope works; checking in with our tradespeople and subcontractors re ongoing projects; or speaking with clients to discuss aspects of their refurbishment. You need to be willing to get on the tools when needed but it will be your responsibility to manage your time to make sure all your jobs are progressing. You won't be thrown in the deep end; we have a structured onboarding system to help you learn the TBRS way, plus you’ll have the services of our dedicated supervisor support team.

As there is a lot of liaising with customers and a variety of tradespeople, you’ll need good relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills.
