We are a boutique virtual company that specialises in Insurance Repairs, Commercial Repairs and Private Renovations on all scales.

We currently service areas from Gympie to Gold Coast

About The Role:

This is a work-from-home online role most of the time, with some site visits required to various job sites around the Brisbane Region.

The role is to assist both the Operations Manager &  Project Supervisors with managing tasks in completing projects. The long-term vision for the role is to train the successful candidate to be able to competently run projects on their own. So this will transition into a Project Supervisor role full time.

The Role will be part time approx 4-6 hours a day for the first few weeks to a month until your knowledge base increases and you become more competent at the role. Then full time hours will apply

Roles and Responsibilities will start with:

  • Coordinating client appointments and site visits
  • Procuring and managing building materials
  • Organizing material logistics and deliveries
  • Issuing clear Work Orders to employees and subcontractors.
  • Assisting in project variations, including writing construction scopes and costings
  • Compiling and managing project budgets and costs
  • Providing administrative support to the Builder and Operations Manager
  • Drafting up quote requests to trades and coordinating access into homes between trades and homeowners.
  • Liaising with trades and homeowners for seamless project execution.

Remuneration is based on experience.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

  • Essential construction/building knowledge, with a deep understanding of trade sequences and materials. DO NOT apply unless you have sound knowledge of these factors.
  • Min 5 years of Residential Construction Knowledge is imperative.
  • Familiarity with building materials for effective ordering
  • Will understand the importance of working within budgets and time frames.
  • Strong financial acumen and bookkeeping skills as we are constantly calculating job costs on a daily basis.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a Dynamic role and is quite intense so the ability to handle high volumes of work, numerous calls and be able to multi-task is important.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work closely in a team.
  • Tech Savvy - must be able to pick up working with software easily.
  • Immediate availability and a long-term commitment to growth within the company
