**About the Role**

Due to expansion, project wins and a healthy pipeline of work moving well into the future across Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coast. Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders has an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated
**Learning and Development Advisor **to be part of our team based at our head office in Banyo.

Our team is looking for a creative thinker who will bring their influencing skills and highly collaborative approach to ensure our training programs are effectively rolled out across our business. Your ability to work well under pressure and ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the organisation will be key contributors to success. You will need to be a confident, self-starter and driven to meet operational results and comfortable to partner with the business in supporting and driving business success through creation and delivery of developmental programs.
- Coordination of Cadetships & Apprenticeships.
- Management of training compliance and training records.
- Monitor and record attendance and progression of learners through program units.
- Liaise with different levels of stakeholders, monitoring and recording feedback data.
- Report gaps in the Training Matrix and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Deliver training as required.

**About You**
- You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role/a significant career background in organisational development and a solid understanding of the fundamentals of hire to retire career pathways.
- Proven experience and success in developing, delivering and facilitating career development programs, Cadetships and Apprenticeship programs.
- Operational experience or understanding in a construction or maintenance environment would be highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate at a senior level (both written and verbally) and write clear, concise and accurate business requirements, work instructions and functional training materials.
- Time management skills and the ability to deal with conflicting requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- A solution-focused approach, taking pride in solving customer problems quickly and effectively.
- Certificate IV in training and assessment will be highly regarded.
