**QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.

The highly collaborative Learning and Development team is passionate about delivering enhanced training and development opportunities to employees across our organisation. About the role

You'll be joining QBuild's rapidly expanding L&D team, growing from 6 to 12 over the next 3 months. This growth has been driven by an organisational need to create meaningful learning experiences that will empower QBuild employees to acquire knowledge and skills in the most engaging and impactful way possible.

You'll be:
playing a key role in coordinating learning activities and organising logistics state-wide,
promoting learning opportunities through internal communication channels,
evaluating learning activities and regularly monitoring feedback to assist in continuous improvement.

Your effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills coupled with your passion for professional development will play a crucial role in providing advice on learning and development practices to senior management including issue identification and problem-solving to find effective solutions.

About you

You're a self-motivated, process-savvy learning and development professional who loves ensuring that learning initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently. You thrive in environments where you can collaboratively analyse and shape learning experiences in a way that genuinely helps people succeed.

You'll bring demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in learning design, delivery and evaluation. Both technical skills (particularly in Microsoft Suite) and a creative mindset are essential to enhance the work we do.
