The Melbourne Hydrotherapy Centre is a purpose-built, Aquatic Physiotherapy private practice in St.Kilda East, operating since 1989.

We are looking for an experienced practice manager to oversee the daily operations of the front office and support the physiotherapy team to help patients achieve their best outcomes.

The successful applicant will play a key role in day-to-day operations, maintaining a high standard of patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a permanent, part-time position commencing January 2025.

Previous practice management and medical administration experience is preferred.

Remuneration is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Oversee daily operations
- Implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures
- Staff rostering
- Invoicing to third parties including Worksafe, TAC and DVA
- Oversee billing via our HICAPS terminal
- Manage and optimise Cliniko, our practice management software, to ensure patient records are up to date
- Maintain stationery and office supplies
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and patients

- An understanding of patient needs
- Proficiency with technology

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St Kilda East, VIC 3183: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical practice management: 2 years (preferred)

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
