The Patient Services Assistant contributes to the team approach in the provision of quality patient care by providing support services to clinical staff.

The role is offered on a Casual basis.

The Position:
- Responsible for assisting with the transporting of patients and assisting with the transporting of equipment- Meals and Refreshments Duties, assisting to feed patient when requested by nursing staff and preparing snack meals when catering staff is absent as well as caring for water jugs and preheating meals- House Keeping Duties such as bed making, removing contaminated waste material and mopping/vacuuming floors as required- Inventory Management by maintaining stock levels in cleaners room and trolley and reporting faulty equipment

To succeed you will have the ability to work as part of a team in an environment of change, be able to prioritise workload and have a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

We can offer you- Hourly rate: $37.19 to $38.51 per hour, (inclusive of casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation- Casual position- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
