Role
What is our Hospital Service Assistant - Holiday Reliever role?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance under the direction of clinical staff with transferring, lifting, re-positioning and ambulation of patients while demonstrating an excellent standard of customer service.
The HSA department operates a 24/7 service. As a guide of what to expect, shift times are:
- AM shifts vary in start times and shifts commence from 0600 to 1030 hours with the latest shift finish time of 1830 hours.
- PM shifts vary in start times and shifts commence from 1200 to 1730 hours with the latest shift finish time of 0030 hours.
- NIGHT shifts vary in start times and shifts commence from 2030 to 2355 hours with the latest shift finish time of 0755 hours.
HSA Holiday Relievers are rostered to cover all shifts as required. HSA Holiday Relievers are rostered over a 7-day period; however, the roster will not be a continuing rotation (i.e., one roster you may have Saturday and Sunday rostered days off (RDOs), the following roster you may have Wednesday and Thursday RDOs). This flexibility with holiday relievers is a necessity to ensure we cover leave efficiently.

- References - the names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.
