We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to provide high quality administrative services for the Operating Suite and Patient Admissions department.

The Administration Assistant is responsible for the coordination of theatre bookings and related activities.

The role is offered on a Permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.

The Position:
- Maintain a high standard of service to internal and external customers at all times.- Respond to caregiver, doctor and other customer enquiries, and/or information requests, researching and responding as necessary.- Enter and monitor Pre-Admission patient bookings.- Provide accurate, well-presented word processing/spreadsheet material; produce and distribute reports as necessary.- Maintain a well-organised filing and information system, ensuring document security.- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times in relation to all patient records.- Perform Private Health Fund checks.- Provide relief for Patient Admission role.- Coordinate all theatre bookings and related activities.- Liaise with theatre shift coordinator, appropriate wards, departments, and support services as required, arrange bookings and respond to enquiries.- Assist in the process of the timely and correct allocation of CMBS numbers to all theatre procedure. Liaise with nursing caregivers and doctors’ rooms to ensure accuracy of data.

You will have well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, a courteous and effective telephone manner and the ability to prioritise workload whilst maintaining performance under pressure.

We can offer you- Salary: $66,608 to $71,901 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation- Permanent full-time position, working 38 hours a week.- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
