In 2015, two university friends founded a solar technology company that has since grown exponentially with the backing of top Australian venture capital firms (Blackbird, Main Sequence, Virescent, Grok), tech founders, and the Australian Government. From a small PhD project in a garage, they have emerged as leaders in the field, producing world-class solar technology.

As Head of Operations for a leading solar technology start-up, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling the company to its next phase of growth. You'll lead the implementation of operational excellence and expansion strategies, ensuring the company evolves as a world leader in its field. As a valued member of the leadership team, you'll bring your passion and experience to tackle new challenges with each opportunity. Reporting directly to the founders, your role will involve:

- B uilding and maturing new capabilities, developing company operations, and implementing performance tracking systems.
- Drive the company's cadence of planning and reporting, identify areas for improvement, and ensure legal compliance.
- Mentoring and motivating teams will be crucial to maximising productivity, and you'll optimise company communication and dynamics to enhance operational efficiency.
- In addition, you'll take ownership of functional operations, including IT solutions, HR, Legal, Risk, Finance and more.

**Requirement**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high growth company (ideally in a rapidly moving start-up environment).
- Broad operational experience in senior management positions. Extra points for experience within manufacturing, a hardware/cleantech company and/or strong understanding of the hardware/cleantech space.
- Experience in scaling company processes, systems, and teams during rapid expansion phases (from 25 to 100+ over 18-24 months).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solver
