**About the Role**:
As Head of Operations, your key role will be to support the business' growth and oversee the company's day-to-day business operations. This will focus on implementing improvements to the organisational structure, including management of all internal processes and systems and optimising company profit and growth.

Organisational & management skills are of upmost importance to this role as you will be required to set & follow the company's critical pathways and adhere to strict delivery windows and timelines.

It is crucial that the individual in this role provides a positive and helpful attitude in all matters and aims to use personal initiative in all opportunities during day-to-day operations to achieve our business goal of increasing profits and optimising efficiencies.

Teamwork and leadership skills will be essential as this individual will be working closely with all employees to manage and guide decision-making. A positive, supportive leadership style will be crucial in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review of logistics strategy and suggestion of areas of improvement
- Work to ensure company critical path is met and adhered to by all employees
- Negotiate with current logistics companies to attain the best possible shipping prices both domestically & internationally for online and wholesale dispatch
- Work closely with warehouse manager to review all warehousing and logistics strategies and present a cost analysis to directors/ board
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure all production incoming and outgoing stock is received and dispatched in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Work with 3PL B2B warehouse in Hong Kong to coordinate import/ export deliveries
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of import logistics to achieve the best and most cost-effective delivery schedules following sales time frame
- Implementation of EDI for International majors
- Participate in all financial planning meetings, analysis, forecasting and budgeting with the CFO
- Collaborate closely with the management team to drive overall operational strategy, create alignment and provide visibility to measurable results
- Quarterly Operations Review with board and financial team to highlight progress and suggest new strategies for improvement. Head of Operations to present KPIs, strategy and progress to the board.

**Key Requirements**:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Business are highly desirable
- Experience within supply chain operations in people management roles
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- Excellent analytical and data capability
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management for importing businesses
- Significant experience with inventory systems and information flow
