We’re on the lookout for a motivated Venue Manager for our cafe in Hawthorn East. This is your chance to join a dedicated, growing hospitality business where your skills and ideas will be valued. You’ll be working alongside passionate, hands-on owners who are committed to quality, consistency and development.

**About the Role**

As our Venue Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the café. You’ll bring a balance of leadership, excellent customer service and building genuine relationships.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage daily service with confidence and consistency
- Deliver exceptional coffee - must be a skilled barista
- Ensure food safety standards and allergen management are upheld
- Train, support and inspire a passionate front-of-house team
- Build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and the local community
- Work closely with the owners to maintain and grow the business

**About You**

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership experience, a great attitude, and the desire to grow with us. You’re the kind of person who lifts the energy in a room, loves working on the floor, and enjoys seeing their team develop.

**You’ll have**:

- Previous experience in café or hospitality management
- Barista expertise and a true love for quality coffee
- Food handling knowledge, including allergen awareness
- Experience training and mentoring staff
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a car
- Able to commit to 5 days a week including weekends
- Residence within close proximity to Hawthorn East

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year

- Hawthorn East VIC 3123: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cafe Management: 1 year (required)
- Barista: 2 years (required)

- Australia (required)
