Pirate Bar, located in the heart of Mount Hawthorn, is on the hunt for an experienced and driven Venue/Duty Manager to take the helm and oversee all aspects of our operations. **Responsibilities**:

- **Oversee Daily Operations**: Ensure smooth running of the venue during all shifts, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- **Performance & Profitability**: Drive overall business performance by monitoring key financial metrics, controlling expenses, and ensuring profitability.
- **Stock & Inventory Management**: Oversee stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and handle ordering to ensure the bar is always well-stocked with the best products.
- **Rostering & Staff Management**: Create rosters, manage shifts, and lead a motivated team to maintain high service standards. Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new staff members.
- **Health, Safety, and Compliance**: Ensure full compliance with RSA and health code regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and handle any operational challenges as they arise.
- **Customer Engagement**: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by engaging with guests, addressing feedback, and fostering an enjoyable, memorable atmosphere.
- **Marketing & Promotions**: Collaborate on events, promotions, and marketing activities to help grow the venue’s reputation and customer base.
- **Budgeting & Reporting**: Keep track of daily cash flow, monitor budgets, and prepare operational reports for senior management.

What We’re Looking For:

- A minimum of **3+ years’ experience** in hospitality management, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in **inventory and stock management**, rostering, and general venue operations.
- A solid understanding of **financials**, including budgeting, profit margins, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering top-tier service.
- **RSA** certification and **Red Card** (essential).

**Expected Hours**: 35+ hours per week
**Salary**: Based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.10 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
