**Venue**:
We are a brand new venue in the heart of Hawthorn with 4 levels of different dining and night life offerings that aiming to be the new institution in the area.
Being a brand new venue we need someone with experience that can shape the business
Offering high quality fresh seafood, dry aged meats, wide selection of wines in a variety of dining rooms that is aiming to be the go to spot for locals
**To be the successful applicant we will expect the following skills and qualifications**:
- At least 2 years of management experience
- At least 2 years of events/ bookings experience
- Experience in using Electronic POS systems
- Basic Excel and word skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Is able to work under pressure and act as a leader
- Able to work autonomously under a direction of management
- Is able to think on his/her feet when unexpected happens and keep the teams morale up
**Expected Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop F&B standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and continuity of service.
- Stock control, Par level management
- Staff training for sequence of service
- Cash handling implementation
- Complying with Licensing requirements at all times
- Coordinating with kitchen in terms of food and costs
- Implementing cleaning and Hygiene procedures
- Create Customer service Standards.
- Manage bookings and event inquiries
- Actively suggest F&B improvements and marketing opportunities.
- Ensure staff are appropriately training in monitoring the intoxication levels of patrons and ensure that alcohol is not served to an intoxicated person.
- Developing upselling techniques that also rewards the staff
- Supervising all lower grade staff
- Ensuring the staff performance level and making sure it is up to standards
- Ensure rosters are circulated with 7 days notice and that staff cost is in line with budget.
- Ensure staff are trained in F&B standard operating procedures.
- Participate in training sessions as advised by higher management.
- To attend, create and implement regular team meetings as required.
- To actively provide opinion, suggestion to higher management to ensure improvement
- To work as part of a team and achieve team outcomes.
- To follow Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- To report unsafe practices or situations to the manager on duty immediately.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
