**About the Organisation**
The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is a multidisciplinary not-for-profit society whose mission is to advance the clinical practice of diagnostic ultrasound. ASUM provides education and sets standards of practice to ensure practitioners give the highest standards of patient care.

**About the Role**
This role reports to the General Manager and oversees member engagement and community management. You will be the first point of contact, deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention of new and existing members. You will utilise member data to shape and drive the membership strategy.

Additionally, you will be involved in overseeing ASUM’s community platform.

**About You**

Experience within an association, member-based or peak body organisation is highly desirable but not essential.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Lead ASUM’s member experience journey.
- Develop and implement strategies for membership acquisition and retention.
- Manage membership onboarding and process renewals.
- Utilise data to guide member strategic initiatives.
- Lead and oversee the ASUM Connect (community) platform.
- Collaborate with the Communications Officer on member communications.
- Liaise with corporate partners.
- Manage CRM data, conduct reporting and admin duties.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience in a membership, customer experience or stakeholder engagement role.
- Passionate in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Professional, personable, and a collaborative team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret and use data effectively.
- Proactive, innovative and eager to learn.
