**Job Overview**: The Recreation Officer will be responsible for planning, organising and coordinating recreational, leisure, cultural, and community programs that support Wonderlab Beauty’s mission of holistic well-being. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to design programs and events that encourage participation, enhance wellness, and foster a supportive community environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, develop and implement recreational, cultural, and wellness activities and programs for clients and community members.
- Organise and coordinate events, workshops, and group activities that promote health, fitness, and social engagement.
- Identify community needs and tailor programs to support inclusivity, well-being, and cultural diversity.
- Manage logistics for recreational activities, including scheduling, booking venues, and arranging equipment and resources.
- Promote programs and events through appropriate channels and engage participants to maximise involvement.
- Monitor, review and evaluate programs to ensure quality, effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Provide information, guidance and support to participants to encourage ongoing involvement in recreational activities.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, local organisations, and wellness partners to expand program offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organisational policies in all activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Health Promotion, Community Development, or a related field (or at least 5 years of relevant work experience).
- Proven experience in planning and coordinating recreational, cultural or wellness programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Organisational and project management skills to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Commitment to promoting inclusivity, health and well-being in line with Wonderlab Beauty’s holistic philosophy.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to recreational and community programs.
