- Extensive experience and understanding of key financial areas and experience in pricing principles and modelling?
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities?
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and based in St. Kilda Road, Melbourne, the Pricing Manager will work collaboratively with the business to lead and drive pricing strategy and price optimisation.
This role will also be responsible for calculating and forecasting appropriate pricing strategies while mitigating the financial risks to HCA.
Working in close liaison with operational managers, the bid team, and the finance department, the Pricing Manager will ensure every aspect of pricing is conducted effective and timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Collaborate with operational teams to drive pricing strategy and pricing optimisation
- Lead the annual pricing and wage review, including pricing scenario analysis
- Lead pricing inputs for tender and grant submissions, including profitability analysis
- Lead pricing optimisation reviews of existing pricing and charge matrices
- Develop and implement strategic and innovative commercial pricing initiatives
- Implement processes to monitor the performance of pricing strategies
- Provide commercial insight to guide analytical processes and recommendations
- Manage & analyse complex data from a variety of data sources
- Ad-hoc reporting and analytical responsibilities as required
**What you will bring to the role**:
A strong communicator, your experience and well-developed problem solving skills have provided you an outcome-focused, systematic approach to finding solutions and delivering on time frames required.
You’re confident working under pressure, juggling conflicting priorities as they arise and you have the ability to identify commercial risks within contracts as required.
**Skills required**:
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work across finance and operational areas
- Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders at all levels (including exec), written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to show initiative, manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
- Inquisitive mindset and enthused by growth and transformation activities
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 7+ years work experience and understanding of key financial areas and experience in pricing principles and modelling
