Pricing Manager

The Pricing Manager is a newly created role at Xero as we seek to strengthen our packaging and pricing capability. Reporting to the GM Commercial Operations (Customer), you will lead the day-to-day global execution of our Packaging and Pricing strategy. You will work closely with the Revenue Operations team, regional Go-to-Market teams and product commercial roles.

You will be comfortable ‘getting your hands dirty’ analysing and synthesising packaging and pricing insights, but equally you will be able to engage with senior stakeholders across Xero to drive alignment on packaging and pricing recommendations. You will ensure Xero makes the right trade-offs in executing on our packaging and pricing strategy and ultimately delivers on key commercial outcomes.

**What You'll Do**:

- Support and strengthen the development and ongoing evolution of Xero’s Packaging and Pricing strategy
- Lead day to day pricing execution (including regular price changes), including implementation of packaging and pricing changes in line with our Packaging and Pricing strategy
- Undertake pricing and customer analysis to inform packaging and pricing decisions and recommendations
- Monitor, track and report on competitor pricing activity to inform our pricing recommendations
- Work with our Voice of Customer team to drive customer research into packaging and pricing
- Manage day to day governance around packaging and pricing decisions
- Collaborate closely with the global Customer, regional and product teams to inform and execute our packaging and pricing recommendations
- Supporting pricing and packaging for new Xero propositions
- Represent our packaging and pricing capability internally and provide input into other relevant Xero projects
- Input into strategy and prioritisation of technology systems supporting our packaging and pricing

**What You'll Bring**:

- 3+ years experience in pricing execution and commercial management roles
- Deep understanding of packaging and pricing strategies, methodologies and tools
- Experience collaborating with a diverse stakeholder group to realise commercial outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating packaging and pricing scenarios, commercial options, and roadmaps for both short and long term planning
- Technology (and particularly SaaS) background is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in delivering
- Ability to ‘switch’ between execution and strategy
- Highly analytical and data driven
- Strong execution skills
- Ability to break down complex problems, and deliver real-world business outcomes
- Ability to build effective relationships and demonstrate excellent negotiation skills with various stakeholder groups
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
