**About the Role**:
A rare permanent opportunity for a Warehouse and Distribution Manager to lead and manage all physical activities for Network Services materials including distribution centre, field distribution centres and transportation.

To manage key supply chain stakeholders including warehouse and distribution, supply chain field officers, outsourced warehousing and logistics contractors and liaise with other stakeholders in the supply chain.

**What you’ll deliver**:

- Manage inventory, warehousing and logistics management in accordance with prescribed Powercor network Services(PNS) policies and procedures including demand, forecasting, inventory costs, stock availability, aged stock, process alignment, stock leakage and meet internal and external customer needs for supply chain
- Liaise with key business stakeholders to understand potential changes in material usage patterns in order to ensure stock levels are sufficient to cater for business requirements
- Manage compliance to HSEQ standards for supply chain and logistics operations across network services and including contractors
- Manage and lead PNS warehousing and distribution functions and personnel
- Manage logistics contracts including the provision of third party logistics (3PL) for distribution centre (DC), scraping and refurbishment
- Manage field distribution centres (FDC) operations including resource and inventory to achieve target service levels
- Ensure timely goods receipting of inventory in order to update stock holdings and facilitate invoice payment
- Work with Procurement as a Subject Matter Expert in negotiating changes to warehousing or logistics contracts to improve value for money or meet changing customer and business needs
- Develop the capabilities, skills and behaviours of team to meet current and future requirements in line with business’s values and behaviours

**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:

- Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or, relevant Business, Management or Finance degree
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain and logistics practices
- Sound knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in relation to logistics and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Leadership and management of an end-to-end delivery function
- Electrical distribution construction or design experience would be desirable
- Experience in managing an outsource distribution centre arrangement would be advantageous
- Experience in leading, coaching and driving a high performance workgroup
