Ventia is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Clothing Logistics Integration Manager to join our Business Management Team within the Defence Clothing System (DCS). Reporting to the Business Manager, this role is pivotal in optimising national logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, warehousing, distribution, and point-of-sale functions

This role will ideally be based in Melbourne, although consideration may be given to other locations. 

Key Responsibilitie

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain analysis across procurement, storage, distribution, and sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Engage closely with subcontractors (WWG & Linfox) to ensure seamless inventory supply.
  • Identify risks and weaknesses in inventory lifecycle and logistics systems, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and trend analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with CLOSPO and internal stakeholders to align inventory management practices.
  • Support surge and project requirements with proactive planning and coordination.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in logistics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a logistics environment.
  • Strong data analytics skills and experience with ERP/inventory systems (Defence LSA preferred).
  • Experience in performance management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Australian Citizenship (required for Defence Security Clearance eligibility).

Special Condition

  • Must hold or be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV).
  • Must pass an Australian Federal Police check and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

About the Contract

Ventia has recently been appointed as the single industry partner for a transformative new contract supporting the Australian Defence Force's clothing capability. Commencing mid-2026, this seven-year agreement (with potential extension for additional 13 years) will modernise and streamline clothing services for Defence personnel. Ventia will collaborate with expert Australian organisations to deliver end-to-end solutions including design, supply, warehousing, distribution, and retail store services, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and exceptional value for the Commonwealth.
