**About the role -**

With exciting changes happening in our (small but awesome) Creative & Marketing team, we are on the hunt for a super fun and confident Social Media Content Creator with a genuine understanding and appreciation for the alternative culture. This position will be based at our Head Office in Campbellfield as a Part-Time role at 3-4 days a week, offering that wholesome work/life balance we all crave

You'll spend some of your time out on location across our Melbourne stores filming educational body piercing videos, fun viral trends and customer experiences, so being 'camera shy' is not in your vocabulary You're the first to volunteer for a public interview series and can always be seen recording BTS content.

**Day to Day -**
- Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Threads (Meta) & TikTok), including planning, scheduling, writing captions and posting content across platforms consistently
- Engage with our community across all social media channels to spark connections and cultivate customer relationships
- Craft, edit and post daily content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (Static posts/Carousels, Reels, Stories) inspired by piercing and alternative culture, and what’s trending
- Lead TikTok strategy and content production, including filming, editing, and publishing
- Manage comments, DMs and mentions across platforms, and proactively engage with our online community as well as aligned brands and creators
- Use Adobe & Canva for creating basic visuals and graphics when needed
- Provide consistent, fresh and on-trend content ideas
- Follow a content plan, but also bring your own creative flair

**About you -**
- You are chronically online & always thinking about the next out-of-box Tiktok or Reel that NEEDS to happen (and are thrifty AF to get the shot)
- Extremely fluent in video editing apps such as Capcut or Premiere Pro
- You are fun, personable and love a good yap. You consume content, are deep in it, and are already making content in your own time
- Minimum 12 months of experience in social media, content creation, or extremely engaged in the space and would like to further or start their career with a recognisable brand
- You'll have your own transport to travel between stores and the ability to be flexible with workdays
- You’re comfortable shooting in fast-paced retail environments and familiar with social media trends in the Body Piercing/alternative lifestyle space
- Ability to work independently; you excel when tasked with making things your own, but are also a team-player and thrive in a collaborative environment
- You have a genuine passion for alternative culture and **LOVE**what you do (and have fun doing it)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
