**The role**:
As the Technology Officer ? Underground Mining Systems you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and effective operation and maintenance of the site?s Underground Mining technology and IT systems. This includes managing modular mining networks and wireless networks, ensuring that site statutory systems are maintained, auditing and working to legislative requirements, conducting daily maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of site networks, facilitating changes to the networks and identifying risk/s.

**Selection Criteria**:
Ideally you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You will need to have a minimum of three years of experience within an underground mining operation and a solid understanding of networking, system administration and disaster recovery. You will also need to be experienced in Pitram, Gallagher/Cardax and Newtrax. A tertiary or trades qualification is required for this role as is Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
