We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales of signage production equipment within the signage industry.

As a valuable resource for our business, the BDM will provide expert advice, perform product demonstrations, and sales/support for our customers.

This full-time permanent position where you will have in-depth knowledge of signage and printing equipment, including functionality, maintenance, and installation. As a valuable resource for our business, the Business Development Manager will provide expert advice, perform product demonstrations, and sales/support for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in the wide format equipment market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the signage industry.
- To provide expert advice on the signage production equipment and its software to our customers, having the ability to identify needs and make recommendations to new and existing customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and staff to showcase the capabilities of our wide format equipment offerings.
- Must have excellent verbal communication to provide education and technical support to customers.
- The individual will be a point of call for sales staff to utilise their knowledge and assist with technical customer enquiries.
- They will be required to attend field sites to install and configure the printer on the network.
- Recognise sales opportunities for replacement or upgrading of customer equipment and report to the sales team.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in selling and maintaining printing equipment or capital products.
- Be comfortable with regular interstate travel.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of signage and printing equipment, including functionality, maintenance, and installation.
- Be a problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be very comfortable in understanding and interpreting technical terms.
- Outstanding customer service ability and a passion to add value to customers.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
- Professional presentation and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Must thrive within a fast-paced environment while getting great enjoyment from establishing and developing new and existing relationships.
- Proficient in assessing customer needs.
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
