The Position
- Area (or regional) management of multiple villages across the east coast portfolio
- Portfolios include multiple clients and villages, providing catering, cleaning and facilities management services
- Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance
- Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
- Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
- Staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respect
- Developing strategic client relationships, and identify additional growth opportunities
- Support client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are followed

The Person
- Experience in Remote Portfolio and Area Management positions
- Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams
- Experience managing multiple client relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities
- Strong financial and analytical skills in managing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business
- Ability to identify and implement new innovations within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in Staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of large scale workforces.

Area Managers form part our senior operational leadership team, which opens up many opportunities within the broader business. Our east coast portfolio includes operations in all states outside of WA. Reporting to the ESS General Manager this position can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra.
