**Your new company**
Working for a high growth SME Australia Retail label in Sydney with global stores and ecommerce offerings on a 12 month fixed term contract basis due to parental leave.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the CEO you will work in a stand alone capacity as the people & Culture Manager for this well established and well regarded fashion label. You will be based at the Sydney global head office supporting all employees and leaders in all areas of HR, people strategies, talent and HR processes. As this is a solo role you will be hands on and deliver on the basics as well as get involved in people strategy, growth, talent planning and project delivery so you will be expected to pivot and adapt depending on the demand or challenge of the day.

Key areas will cover talent and talent management, employee relations, performance management, coaching leaders, training and onboarding, HR policy development and implementation, managing employee benefits and reward and recognition, wellbeing initiatives. In addition you will oversee the payroll which is outsourced, salary reviews and any work related to HR compliance and performance reviews.

**What you'll need to succeed**
This is a 12 month contract position due to parental leave will a full handover included in the recruitment process and onboarding. You will be someone who enjoys hitting the ground running, working in a busy varied SME style culture and smaller business environment. There are global stores so someone who has experience with UK and/or US employees and working in a global environment would be beneficial. Ideally you will have worked in the retail sector or have a key passion for fashion and this creative and vibrant industry as the culture and leaders are truly passionate about what they do.

**What you'll get in return**
Salary is 120 - 150K base + super and the offices are in the creative retail hub of Alexandria. Ideally someone who enjoys working in the office to build relationships as it’s a very collaborative environment with 1 day a week WFH. You will get the opportunity to work with creative and inspirational leaders and CEO who, help drive culture and engagement and support growth and change. This is no ordinary parental leave contract

Offices are in Sydney's inner city suburb with street parking and close to many public transport options.
