We are partnering with a respected and established National Brokerage firm in Brisbane CBD who are looking to grow their team with an experienced claims officer. This is a full time position close to public transport in a high performing and collaborative team.
This business is part of a national chain and is well known for their outstanding delivery of service to their clients. As a claims consultant you will work closely with the National Claims Manager supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic risks.
**The Role**
The purpose of this role is to provide market leading proactive claims customer service between brokers, the insurer and the insured.
You will be responsible for daily management of claims and assessments while providing an exceptional level of customer service to your clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Make Inbound and outbound customer, supplier and Broker calls relating to claims
- Resolve issues and complaints
- Manage Claims efficiently
- Proactively keep customers and stakeholders fully informed
- Identify suspected fraudulent claims, potential recoveries and salvage opportunities
- Identify information required for claims, gather data and make appropriate decisions about claims
- High working relationships with all internal and external parties
**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience in General Insurance Claims
- Outstanding listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant insurance industry principles and regulatory requirements
