Melbourne CBD org seeks skilled Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist. Long-term opportunity starts late April. 2 days WFH per week.

**The Company**

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation who are expanding rapidly. Employees are working partly from home currently then partly in the offices in Melbourne's CBD. It's rare to see a company experience such rapid growth, especially in the current climate so this position offers the chance to grow and develop with the organisation. The company also offer up to 2 days per week work from home flexibility. The offices are in the CBD and very easy to access from major public transport links.

This is an organisation that will quickly advance those that want to grow and develop.

**The Role**

This is a long-term opportunity that will start on an initial temporary basis (for around 6 months) but will then be offered as a permanent opportunity. It's a varied and challenging role which reports directly to the Billing Manager. Interviews taking place from mid-late April onwards. Full training will be provided. The role will be 3 days in the office with 2 from home and will commence asap.

Typical day to day duties will involve:

- Invoice generation and billing up to 200 customers each month
- Account Reconciliations
- Handling billing queries and using company portal to log issues
- Documenting processes and workarounds
- Generation of aged debtors report
- Attendance at monthly Branch meetings
- Liaising closely with credit control and operations teams
- Maintaining list of credit notes
- Liaising regularly with General Managers
- Directly supporting Finance Manager with projects and process improvement
- Processing daily direct debit runs
- Investigating and issuing refunds
- Analysing mis allocated payments
- Using excel for formatting and conditional formatting

This role is 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Specific hours are flexible but likely to be 38 per week altogether.

**Your Profile**

Ideally, you will have a background in Invoicing, Billing or Accounts Receivable with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position. Alternatively, you may be an Accounts officer or Banking Officer. You will also be ambitious and keen to challenge yourself in a fast paced environment. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Experience with large company receivables accounts
- An enthusiasm to learn and grow in the position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to commute comfortably to northern suburbs part of the week
- ERP systems experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of performing in a fast paced environment
- Strong excel skills
- Able to start quickly if successful
- Long term working rights in Australia
