Newly created Billing Specialist opportunity within a global law firm

**Your new company**

Hays is excited to be partnering with this leading global law firm in the search for a Billing Specialist. Due to growth, there is now an opportunity for two Billing Specialists/Officers to join the Melbourne CBD office to join the billing team and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

**Your new role**

In your new role, you will report to the Accounting Manager and, day to day, you will be responsible for:

- Ensure client billing guidelines are met and updated
- Co-ordinate monthly billing in Melbourne and work closely with Secretaries and Lawyer/Partners to finalise bills within the required timeframes
- Ensure billing workflows such as write-offs have appropriate documentation
- Assist with processing and responding to requests received in the Client Accounting Inbox
- Provide telephone, online and face-to-face support for all users on the system

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar, hands-on processing role with the ability to communicate effectively, accurately and maintain confidentiality. Ideally, you will have a background in a professional services environment.
