**Your Role**

Walker Filtration PTY LTD, trading as Pneumatic Australia and Edmac Australia has been representing market leading manufacturers in the compressed air and specialized gas since 1983.

We provide our customers with customized solutions in compressed air treatment, nitrogen and oxygen generation, special gas filtration. We also provide a comprehensive range of compressor spare parts and lubricants to cover the Australian market and are fully supported by an international network of quality suppliers.

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team in Tullamarine.

**What your day might look like**:

- The daily oversight of purchasing and materials management requirements.
- The supervision and reporting of surplus inventory.
- Ensure efficient inbound and outbound freight methods to minimize expenses and lower CO2 emissions.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel to establish optimal warehouse practices.

**To succeed, you will need**
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Purchasing, Inventory Control and/or Logistics
- Have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
- Solid organisational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Proficient user of ERP software, Microsoft Word, and Excel, SAP experience advantageous.
