We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Leader to develop our Accounts Receivable and Claims team to ensure best practice collection and allocation of claims leading to optimal cashflow.

**The role**:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, broadly the key responsibilities of the role are:

- Leadership & development of a team of 3
- Accountability for the reconciliation of debtor accounts & follow through to completion of queries, disputed items, errors and incorrect payments
- Oversee the allocation of daily remittances, AR inbox, investigation of queries and disputes to completion & ownership of the collection processes
- Preparation of Monthly reporting; Debtor’s reports, outstanding claim reports, customer statements, cashflow forecasts
- Data Owner/ System administration for new accounts and customer terms and rebates
- Leading our credit review, credit limits and the held order processes
- Support the Sales teams through use of our promotional tool (Promax) to match customer claims to terms, rebates & promotions. Escalate unresolved claims and reconcile accrual accounts
- Supporting annual audit process, maintaining process controls & procedure documentation, supporting information schedules & reconciliations
- Proven understanding of Accounts Receivable & Claims, experience with a large ERP system within FMCG environment with more than 5 years AR & Claims Experience
- Sound understand of Cashflow management & customer terms
- Excellent customer service skills & cross functional engagement experience
- An ability to solve problems and demonstration of continuous improvement initiatives
- Leadership skills to support the team and lead change processes
