**About the Opportunity**

Malcolm Thompson Pumps is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our high performing team near Perth Airport.

In this role you will work across business units providing overseas and local purchasing services to ensure approved orders are supplied in accordance with agreed terms.
- Your responsibilities in this role will include:_
- Assist the Operations Manager to make the optimum decision on routine stock orders.
- Recommending purchasing quantities for stock replenishment.
- Monitoring the progress of orders, investigate problems and update the planned receipt dates in the system.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders based on agreed replenishment levels and non-routine Purchase Orders.
- Review replenishment reports and make recommendations.
- Create advanced shipment Notifications (ASNs).
- Confirm invoices match POs prior to receipt of goods.

**About You**
- Experience in a similar position.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Analytical, with problem solving skills.
- Highly organisational skills with attention to detail.
