This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable and leading shipping line located in Sydney CBD. The opening is in the operations team where you will be responsible for the logistics coordination for vessel import and export across Australia.

The

**Duties & responsibilities include**:

- Updating transshipment cargo instructions
- Dangerous good reporting for imports, exports, transshipment and transit
- Consolidating vessel exports and clearing with ABF
- Managing vessel cargo and operations requirements
- Assisting with empty container logistics, such as booking releases, depot redirection, and imports re-use
- Preparing cargo instructions for overweight containers, transport of unpacks/repacks and client cargo request
- Processing and handling damage container and cargo claims
- Monitoring and working with various suppliers

**Skills & experience required**:

- Experience working in a shipping or logistics environment either locally or internationally
- Ability to adapt to and utilise a variety of internal/external operating systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate and organise with internal/external stakeholders
- Attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
