Leading logistics firm operating nationally, specialising in both Manufacturing and Logistics for a niche industry.

**About the role**:
As a Branch Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our South-Western Sydney site (Liverpool/Fairfield - soon to be relocated to Lidcombe) during a period of significant growth. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production teams, maintaining an organized yard, planning pick-ups and drop-offs, coordinating services and repairs, and managing the fleet. This is a customer-centric role where you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Looking for an experienced Branch Operations Manager, who is capable of being customer centric and delivering to the highest standard operationally with a supportive and collaborative team.
- Ensure seamless branch operations, guaranteeing that production teams meet client expectations.
- Organize and manage the yard, ensuring schedules are communicated to yard hands efficiently.
- Plan and coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs in collaboration with the logistics team.
- Oversee services and repairs, maintaining the efficiency of equipment and machinery.
- Liaise with the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and coordination.
- Proactively engage in business development activities to capitalize on the ongoing growth.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
- HSE front of mind - zero injuries regime on-site

**Requirements**:

- Minimum requirement: HR License; HC license is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of either transport, trucking or logistics essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage relationships with clients and vendors.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Outlook and Teams
