About The Role

We are looking for an HR Officer with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to take initiative to join our People team.

This role is based at our Perth office working a Monday to Friday 40-hour week.

Your accountabilities will be:
- Manage queries and requests through ServiceNow and Workday- Process employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations) throughout the Employee Life Cycle, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained- Generate employment change letters for employees, both within Workday (People system) and outside the system- Prepare employment offers and onboard new hires in Workday- Maintain organisational and position management in Workday- Create reports using Excel and distribute them as needed- Cultivate professional relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, standardised, accurate, and effective services- Regularly review Workday data to maintain data validity and compliance- Arrange relocation assistance for new and existing employees

About You- Knowledge of People systems such as Workday and ServiceNow- Qualifications in Human Resources, related discipline, or actively undertaking HR studies- Strong attention to detail- Strong administrative & Microsoft office skills- Ability to problem solve - using own initiative to find an outcome and seek out information- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills- Ability to be flexible and adaptable - ability to work within a consistently changing and fluid environment- Customer service orientation - outcome driven while maintaining a strong customer focus

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Mining, construction, or resources experience desirable- An understanding of current employment law legislation and industrial relations
