**The Role**:
C&IB Operations lending supports the Institutional Lending segment at NAB in Operational and cashflow management, with efficient oversight and execution of transactions. Such transactions are originated within Corporate & Institutional Banking and Corporate Finance.

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Lending, the team have a need for a Lead to provide exceptional team leadership to their Colleagues, Stakeholders and Customers. This person must have a best-in-class Operational mindset, Exceptional Communication & Leadership background.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading the team’s day to day operations by leveraging your experience in Business Lending, Loan IQ & AOM
- Supporting aspiring G1 and G2 team members with the breadth of your technical expertise in Business
- Lending, Loan IQ and Institutional Banking background
- Approving deals in NUW & Loan IQ
- Managing key controls associated with minimising errors and rework
- Coaching and development of your direct reports
- Training Associates internal and external to your team, to enable a cross skilled workforce in the wider CIBLO team
- Management of process improvements in your team
- Attending stakeholder meetings where required on behalf of Corporate Lending Manager
- Encouraging a culture of ongoing process improvements and change.

**What you will bring**:

- A breath of leadership experience gained in the C&IB space
- AOM Accredited (Practitioner level)
- A natural and curious style in coaching and enabling colleagues
- A focus on customer service whilst balanced with strong adherence to risk and controls frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a positive team focused attitude
- Organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines in a productive and efficient way
- Proven change management background.
