About the role:
In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic Bank Guarantee team, processing Bank Guarantee products within our Transactional Banking Operations team. You'll also provide key support to the Bank Guarantee Operations Head.

What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare, issue, maintain and cancel standard, non-standard and counter Bank Guarantees and any associated fees- Perform all controls to ensure guarantees are issued in accordance with internal group policy, guarantees checklists, local branch SOP, credit risk authorisations, special requirements and agreed customer conditions-
- Ensure Bank Guarantee fee invoicing and collections are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes, and that critical checklists are followed- Input data for issuances, amendments and cancellations in the bank’s guarantee core system- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members- Build and maintain good working relations and open communication lines with both internal and external stakeholders, and provide a high level of service and professionalism- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to building more effective processes and embrace changes to eliminate the possibility of errors- Prepare monthly reporting- Report and escalate operational risk events- Provide support to Corporate Loans and Trade Operations team when needed
