Data and Insights Manager

The Data & Insights manager will own and drive Reporting, Analysis and Business Partnering across the P/L. It also includes Sales, Rebates, Cogs, Distribution, Marketing Promotions to facilitate E2E review of the Contribution Margin and enable cross-functional collaboration and integrated strategic alignment. As well as managing advanced analytics, develop alternate channels, and facilitate the forecasting and budgeting process.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Data & Insights manager to join our Commercial Operations Team. This is a newly created position.

**Work Environment**
- Approximately 5 working days per month to be spent in the Sydney office and/or out of office with customers.
- May be requested to travel and attend business functions in Australia and APAC to meet job requirements.
- Normal office environment
- Sedentary to the light physical effort necessary to perform the job.
**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years experience in advanced reporting and analysis business partnering:
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing multiple Data Sets to model complex scenarios in Excel, Tableau
- Demonstrated experience in understanding commercial requirements and quantifying into data/reports
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Project management with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and data sources
- Identifying, building & and maintaining relationships with key business partners locally, regionally & and globally
- Presentation, training & workshop facilitation
- Minimum 3 years related experience with BI technologies - Tableau, COGNOS, Power BI
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing related area
- Completion of related technology training courses and/or up-to-date certification

**E2E Contribution Margin Model Management**
- Maintain ERP Data Cube across Sales, Rebates, Cogs, Distribution, Marketing Promotions (Contribution Margin)
- Maintain monthly ERP reporting/dashboards across Contribution Margin
**Market/Industry Share Report (CLI) Analysis**
- Validate and analyze Global Market Share (CLI) Report
- Maintain quarterly Market/Industry Share reports for ANZ Business
- Collaborate with Global to develop relevant insights and reporting framework
**Profitability Analysis and Scenario Planning**
- Maintain Profitability Model across Contribution Margin
- Provide Profitability Analysis and Scenario Planning partnership to enable strategic commercial decisions
**Lead and drive partnership with Marketing and Professional Services**
- Correlate Marketing and Professional Services insights with Commercial Teams strategy, objectives, and activities
- Quantify Marketing and Professional Services insights into credible data inputs and reports/trackers
**Tableau Dashboard Development and Maintenance**
- Automate manual reporting into Tableau with IT, Finance, and ANZ Business
- Develop reporting as required by ANZ Business
**2. Advanced Analytics and Alternate Channels**
**Advanced Analytics**
- Analyze contact lens industry data (e.g., wearer population and trend, activity to sales results correlation)
- Analyze and leverage APAC and Global industry data
- Collaborate with APAC on advanced analytics projects (e.g., A.I.based market research)
**Alternate Channels**
- Develop Alternate Channel development strategy and business plan
- Maintain E-commerce channel in line with business objectives and strategy
**3. Forecasting and Budgeting**
- Maintain the Forecasting and Budgeting input model
- Gather commercial insights to shape quarterly forecasts and annual budget revenue and volume
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure forecast budget inputs are approved and aligned with corporate guidelines
