About the Role

As the Marketing Manager, you'll be at the heart of our event marketing strategy, driving awareness, engagement, and attendance across multiple platforms. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires a hands-on, strategic, results-driven marketer who can blend creativity with analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead marketing strategies by aligning business goals, objectives and key messaging with content delivery across a portfolio of industry-leading events
  • Direct and manage innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote the company's diverse range of events
  • Create, review, and optimise digital content for our event websites, social media platforms, and email campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers and portfolio leaders to create compelling visual and written content that enhances brand awareness and audience engagement
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, ROI, and audience engagement and extract key insights for future campaign development and strategies
  • Build and nurture partnerships with sponsors, influencers, and media outlets to enhance promotional efforts
  • Inspire, guide and mentor marketing team members to achieve excellence, creativity and professional growth
  • Oversee marketing budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximise return on investment
  • Stay current on digital trends, technologies, and marketing best practices
  • Present campaign insights and strategic updates regularly to the board and relevant stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within events or hospitality
  • 3+ years of proven experience in team management or supervisory roles
  • Strong understanding of audience engagement and digital marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, analytics platforms)
  • Exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and creative thinking
  • Collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
