**What this opportunity involves**:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Team Assistant to join our team. As the Team Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our team or department. Your main responsibilities will include managing calendars, coordinating team activities, and facilitating effective communication within the team.
**Overview of the role**:
General administrative assistance, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files and databases for the team or department.
Facilitate effective communication within the team, including coordinating team activities
Support the Senior Executive Assistant & State Leadership Team in ensuring adherence to policies and procedures maintaining consistency and promoting best practices in policy governance.
Meeting logistics, including booking rooms, coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, and taking minutes as required.
Support team members with travel coordination, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation when needed.
Assist in creating, formatting, editing, and proofreading various documents, such as reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by contributing to team-building activities and promoting effective communication and information sharing.
Provide additional support as required, including assisting with special projects, conducting research, and performing other assigned administrative duties to support the team's objectives.

Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a team or departmental setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks, document preparation, and data management.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as familiarity with database management and collaboration platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and handle multiple tasks with composure and professionalism.
A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.
