THE FIRM:

Situated in Doncaster East, the firm is a busy, boutique legal practice specialising in family law and litigation.

You will be working alongside one Principal, who brings over 27 years of experience, and is consistently recognized for excellence. This Principal operates across three states, offering clients expert legal representation with a personalised touch.

THE ROLE:

  • Temporary assignment ending February 2026
  • On-site
  • Five days, Monday to Friday (flexible to four days for the right person)
  • 8 business hours per day (flexible start and finish)

YOU:

  • Have working rights in Australia.
  • Can work four to five weekdays a week, 8 hours each day.
  • Have over one year's experience as a Legal Assistant for a family law firm in Australia: is a MUST.
  • Have working experience with legal software: essential.
  • Have working experience in litigation preparation: essential.
  • Have working experience drafting legal letters and legal correspondence: essential.
  • Are presentable
  • Have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Are on time, and organised.
  • Can keep up the pace in a busy office, assisting the Principal.
  • Are down to earth, patient, and open minded.
  • Given the small nature of the business, be able to occasionally run errands, do odd jobs, follow instruction.
