The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group, located in Bassendean, is Western Australia's largest designer kitchen, stone and glass manufacturer. Employing over 150 staff over 3 dedicated premises focused on to providing excellence in quality and service.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role supports the Stores department and the manufacturing facility in ensuring that all materials are available in a timely and cost effective manner, coordinating the purchase, receipt and processing for all direct material costs.

Your hands-on role as Purchasing and Inventory Officer will include but not be limited to the following duties:

- Raising, receipting and invoicing of purchase orders
- Following up all outstanding orders and supplier credits
- Stocktake entry, analysis and resolution
- High volume data processing
- Liaising with established suppliers and holding accountability to supply agreements
- Communicating clearly with internal customers
- Evaluating alternative suppliers
- Process internal staff purchases
- Review and reduce slow moving stock

**You**
- A minimum 2 years purchasing experience
- A working knowledge of Navision or other ERP software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in cabinet/furniture making industry highly desirable
- Excellent personal presentation
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office
- A keen desire to own and succeed in the role and the ability to identify future areas for improvement
