We are searching for an experienced and motivated purchasing officer to join our client who are a national apparel company with an immediate start on a 3 month temporary basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare and place purchase orders for Manufactured Items and related Raw Materials
- Work with State and National Managers to ensure forecasted requirements are entered into Navision
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure Supplier and product information is accurate in Navision including Re-order points and quantities
- Expedite outstanding Purchase Orders & Purchase Return Orders
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure Production schedules are maintained and raw material inventories are accurate
- Provide regular weekly production and Raw Material updates to relevant users, including meetings
- Maintain reporting requirements
- Work closely with the Warehouse & Finance teams to address any problems with receipting, stock identification & payables

To be successful you will have:

- Strong numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management and administrative skills
- Team player who can work autonomously
- Proficiency at MS Office, at an Intermediate level
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
