Purchasing Officer - Short Term - Albany location or remote
Your new organisation

This Government organisation is seeking a Purchasing Officer for a 3-month temporary assignment. Based either in Albany or working remotely, this position will be commencing at the end of November and would be an excellent opportunity for someone in between roles.

Your new role

In this role you will be responsible for the purchasing of mainly transportation and logístical services.
- Raising and issuing POs
- Issuing Requests for Quotes
- Vendor selection
- Liaison with vendors and subcontractors

What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication and stakeholder liaison skills
- Good computer system skills
- Ability to problem solve and learn quickly.

What you’ll get in return

In return you will have a short-term contract within a Government organisation for a period of 3 months. Further details include:

- Based either in Albany or remotely
- Hourly rate of $45-55/hour + super
- Working from home options
