It’s an exciting time to join us. **About the role** We are looking for a HR and Payroll Officer to support our rapidly growing global business and its 120+ employees. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will help support the strategic objectives, global initiatives and provide operational support across our locations including Australia, HK, Singapore, Malaysia, USA and UK. The HR and Payroll Officer will provide HR support to stakeholders across a variety of generalist aspects globally. Your efforts across recruitment, payroll, onboarding, through to offboarding will help shape the experience of our people and help support our HR business operations as we rapidly scale. The HR and Payroll Officer will be required to deliver high quality customer service, build strong working relationships across the organisation and positively promote the organisation at all times. Key role responsibilities will include; - Providing general administration assistance to the COS as required to assist in the achievement of HR & people related business objectives - Providing direction, support and advice efficiently and effectively in all areas of Human Resources (HR) including but not limited to the areas of - recruitment and selection - learning and development - performance management and reviews - grievances and dispute resolution - and change management. - Payroll - End-to-end full function processing of payroll for all employees across the business ( fortnightly for Australia, monthly review for Singapore & UK) - Recruitment - Using your market knowledge, communication skills and creativity to develop communications to attract quality talent to our business across various channels - Managing activities through the employee lifecycle from induction through to offboarding - Ongoing assistance in the development of human resource policies and procedures - Ensure compliance with all industrial relations legislation across all aspects of HR in AUS **Our goals for the next 6 month** - Help define and action key attraction and retention strategies - Create meaningful experiences that contribute to our culture through engaging initiatives and activities - Re-energise our global onboarding of our people **About you** - Experience in Payroll or HR position - Experience with payroll systems - 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a dynamic environment or technology start up - Be technically savvy with experience in HRIS Systems, preferably BambooHR - Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycle - Experience in all aspects of the employee lifecycle including employee relations, IR, and OH&S - Ability to assist with in-house training and workshops internally where appropriate - Positively foster and promote a performance based and collaborative culture - Tertiary qualification in Human Resource or related discipline This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their knowledge and skills in a "people first" organisation.
