**Join our Evolve Scientific Melbourne team as a Payroll Officer**

You will be a key part of the Payroll team based in Camberwell, providing accurate and timely payroll services as well as providing administrative support to the wider Evolve team.

**In this role, youll also be**:

- **Processing weekly payroll** - End-to-end payroll for casual staff, including finalising pay batches, sending payslips, and liaising with our Bangalore team.
- **Ability to multi-task -** Working within a small team (2) to support nationwide weekly Payroll.
- **Onboarding new staff** - Setting up employees in the payroll system with accurate documentation and handling offboarding as needed.
- **Handling payroll admin** - Managing expiring job orders, inputting purchase orders, and assisting with general payroll tasks.
- **Answering payroll queries** - Resolving issues like pay discrepancies, back pays, and rate changes with professionalism and care.
- **Supporting internal teams** - Performing ad hoc rate checks, urgent placements, and confirming pay and charge rates as required.
- **Staying compliant** - Reviewing award rate updates (especially at EOFY) and ensuring accurate updates in the payroll system.

**What were looking for**:

- **Experience working within a labour hire / recruitment business.**:

- **Previous experience in a fast-paced payroll position.**:

- The ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience using **FastTrack** is preferable
- Computer literacy skills especially in Microsoft with a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a strong sense of customer service.
- AND last but not least be able to work with honesty and integrity.
