Located in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, The Mount Compass Golf course is a 50 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD and 20 minutes from popular tourist areas such as Victor Harbor, Port Elliott and Goolwa. Mount Compass Golf Course is a challenging 18 hole links style public golf course that sits in the top 70 of Australias Best Golf Courses in Golf Digest rankings. The facility boasts a bar and restaurant that is open to the public, a pro shop with full range of equipment and apparel.

**About the Role**:
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in promoting the golf course, managing Pro Shop operations, and enhancing customer experiences. This position requires a hands-on approach, involving direct interaction with customers, corporate clients, and key stakeholders, as well as overseeing marketing initiatives to drive business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Pro Shop & Customer Service**:

- Manage Pro Shop operations, including answering inquiries, processing bookings, and assisting with retail sales.
- Maintain online booking systems and ensure accurate customer data management.
- Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and corporate clients.
- Order, stock, and present refreshments, golf merchandise, and equipment.

**Marketing, Sales & Events**:

- Organize and promote corporate golf days, trade events, and tournaments.
- Maintain relationships with playing rights holders and encourage course utilization.
- Monitor competitor activity and develop special offers to attract new customers.

**Administration & Operations**:

- Maintain an up-to-date customer database for marketing and promotions.
- Assist with managing golf competitions, handicaps, and events.
- Collaborate with course superintendents, greenkeeping staff, and food & beverage operators.
- Train and supervise new staff as required.

**About You**:

- Experience in marketing, sales, or golf industry operations.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of golf and experience in a golf-related role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
